Gaughan to challenge Mychajliw
Regionalism and government downsizing advocate and attorney Kevin Gaughan will likely replace Lynn Szalkowski, and run as Democratic candidate for Erie County Comptroller against Stefan Mychajliw.
The decision will be made final later this week.
Mr. Gaughan is an EXCELLENT CHOICE as the Democratic candidate.

When I think of the word ‘reformer,’ Kevin certainly pops into my mind.
The incumbent Republican? Look up ‘charlatan,’ ‘scam artist,’ and perhaps ‘phony.’
It will be interesting to see what the Judas Democrats in Cheektowaga will do, that is Frank Max, Andrew Kulyk and Camille Brandon – Republicans masquerading as Democrats who fawn all over county Republicans – once they realize their pet Republican now has a heck of a fight on his hands.
