2nd Amendment and Kathy Weppner

According to the silly lady, the founders of our country supposedly included the 2nd Amendment so that our servicemen and women could keep their arms and use them to commit treason and insurrection.

I’m pretty sure the intended purpose of the 2nd Amendment was the exact opposite of that. But here’s a chillingly awful video that Tea Party Kathy released on her husband’s YouTube account. My favorite is when she stuffs the pistol in her pants.

UPDATE: As you can see, Weppner removed this video. I looked at her other accounts – Friends of Kathy Weppner and Weppner for Congress, and it doesn’t appear there, either. Most of her videos appear on an account labeled “Dr. Weppner”

Weppner has already made herself famous by scrubbing just about any trace of her pre-2014 existence from the internet. Now, the scrubbing takes place in real time.

  • Scary looking woman….she should try some make up sometime…….shame about what comes out of her mouth ………she should try some schooling as well as her interpretation of the constitution is completely Palinesque………

  • Angry and shouty are not great campaigning tactics, but hey – if that’s what you like, so be it.

  • I can’t remember the last time I saw a face that so clearly reflected a person’s mentality. So angry and bitter.

It really makes you wonder what this housewife from a nice neighborhood, whose husband makes over 300k annually, has to be so friggin’ bitter and angry about? I would love to read a psychiatrist’s assessment of Mrs. Weppner.

Many of the gun nuts seem to believe their weapon gives them a louder voice and more influence in our political process. These same fools believe they are somehow patriots in their endless quest to protect their “rights” but fail to recognize their efforts are driven by nothing more than their obsession with firepower and their own self interest.

    • They are protecting “our rights” as long as the term applies to everything that falls in line with “their opinions”. Or at least that applies to the majority that I’ve met.

      • You do not have to exercise your rights. Your desire to take mine away because of your choices or preferences is really selfish, misguided, and just plain wrong.

        • BlackRockLifer

My right to pursue life, liberty, and happiness is diminshed by the great number of gun obsessed yahoo’s and thugs that continue to create mayhem in our society.

          • Oh. You mean all of the whacko liberals who keep going on killing sprees? I agree. Democrats are dangerous to themselves and others. They are disconnected from reality and disassociated from humanity. They are self involved and every single one of them is just one delusion away from committing a mass murder. Watch your back and keep your gun loose in the holster if a liberal is anywhere nearby.

        • Riiiiiiight. Its always somebody else’s fault isn’t it?

          • Just one more liberal plotting mayhem. That’s become normal.
Democrats are all psychotic. Each and every one of them is just one
delusion away from mass-murder. It’s in their nature.

          • Yep! Mayhem! I don’t share your viewpoint, therefore I must be ready to kill. Kill! Kill! Kill! And then when I’m done, I’m going to save a Spotted Owl and a Panda, and maybe some forestland. Then if there’s time, a light lunch, followed by more killing!

The dumbass is strong with you.

          • Here is what’s funny (not funny haha – funny sick) about what you just said: In the 70s and 80s, in the name of the spotted owl, eco-k00k leftists maimed and murdered loggers and miners, spiked trees, blew up forestry equipment, blew up the offices of logging companies, burned mining equipment, and murdered the office staff of two mining companies.

Yes. Leftists – eco-k00k whackos – and liberals in general – are just one delusion away from mass murder. You are all disconnected from reality and are a danger to yourselves and others. You feel so entitled to getting your way and to being given that which you do not deserve, you think it’s just fine to murder innocents… You’re all sick in the head.

          • Good job! You understood the reference. A million internets for you!

          • Understood the reference? You fu**ers killed my brother. Sick, twisted freaks every one of you.

        • Lamont Cranston

Yeah what BRL said. How silly and selfish of people to want to protect themselves from wackos. Wouldn’t it be funny if one of your family members was murdered by somebody just like you?

          • Right, because someone needs an arsenal to defend them from a home invasion. What a ridiculous statement. Take a self defense course, go to the gym, and use a knife. It’s better for close combat anyway, and you won’t severely increase the chance that someone in your family will die by that gun.

  • Such a depiction of feigned outrage I’ve not seen. She must be loadin’ up to get that nasty raccoon that’s making unauthorized deposits underneath the hot tub, no doubt.

  • The video has been taken down. Do you have it anywhere else?

  • Oh look, the video is down now. What a coincidence Weppner and Internet scrubbing.

“My favorite is when she stuffs the pistol in her pants.”

An acquaintance of mine did that once with grave results. Although truthfully I could not care less, I hope what happened to his doesn’t happen to hers…

  • I cannot remember seeing another political candidate so completely ashamed of the things she not only HAS said, but IS saying, that she scrubs them almost immediately after posting them. Is she campaigning only a few minutes at a “clip”, with videos created just to be accessible until Alan finds them? It’s like reverse whack-a-mole, where the mole offs itself when discovered.

Who knew a major part of her campaign strategy was dodging Alan’s link-making hand.

I wonder who’s quicker on the draw: Gatty Weapponer with her Glock….or Alan with his mouse?

“A free people ought to be armed.”
    – George Washington

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
    – Benjamin Franklin

“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.”
    – Thomas Jefferson

“I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.”
    – Thomas Jefferson

“The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature.
They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to
commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and
better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to
prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater
    confidence than an armed man.”
    – Thomas Jefferson (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria)

“A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises,
I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it
gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played
with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body
and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your
constant companion of your walks.” – Thomas Jefferson

“The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States)
assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise
it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times
    armed.”
    – Thomas Jefferson

“On every occasion [of Constitutional interpretation] let us carry
ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect
the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying [to force]
what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it,
[instead let us] conform to the probable one in which it was passed.”
    – Thomas Jefferson

“I enclose you a list of the killed, wounded, and captives of the
enemy from the commencement of hostilities at Lexington in April, 1775,
until November, 1777, since which there has been no event of any
consequence … I think that upon the whole it has been about one half
the number lost by them, in some instances more, but in others less.
This difference is ascribed to our superiority in taking aim when we
fire; every soldier in our army having been intimate with his gun from
    his infancy.”
    – Thomas Jefferson in a letter to Giovanni Fabbroni, June 8, 1778

“Arms in the hands of citizens may be used at individual discretion in private self defense.”
    – John Adams

“To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them.”
    – George Mason

“I ask sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few politicians.”
    – George Mason (father of the Bill of Rights and The Virginia Declaration of Rights)

“Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every country in Europe.”
    – Noah Webster

“The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the
sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a
force superior to any band of regular troops.”
    – Noah Webster

“A government resting on the minority is an aristocracy, not a
Republic, and could not be safe with a numerical and physical force
against it, without a standing army, an enslaved press and a disarmed
    populace.”
    – James Madison

“Americans have the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the
people of other countries, whose leaders are afraid to trust them with
    arms.”
    – James Madison

“The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be
infringed. A well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people,
trained to arms, is the best and most natural defense of a free
    country.”
    – James Madison

“The ultimate authority resides in the people alone.”
    – James Madison

“Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.”
    – William Pitt

“To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the
people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young,
    how to use them.”
    – Richard Henry Lee

“A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves … and include all men capable of bearing arms.”
    – Richard Henry Lee

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone
who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but
downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined…. The
great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might
    have a gun.”
    – Patrick Henry

“This may be considered as the true palladium of liberty…. The
right of self defense is the first law of nature: in most governments it
has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest
limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of
the people to keep and bear arms is, under any color or pretext
whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the
    brink of destruction.”
    – St. George Tucker

“… arms … discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe,
and preserve order in the world as well as property…. Horrid mischief
would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived the use of them.”
    – Thomas Paine

“The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of
the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own
    arms.”
    – Samuel Adams

“The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been
considered, as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it
offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power
of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first
instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them.”
    – Joseph Story

“What, Sir, is the use of a militia? It is to prevent the
establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty …. Whenever
Governments mean to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they
always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise an army upon
    their ruins.”
    – Rep. Elbridge Gerry of Massachusetts

” … for it is a truth, which the experience of all ages has
attested, that the people are commonly most in danger when the means of
insuring their rights are in the possession of those of whom they
    entertain the least suspicion.”
    – Alexander Hamilton

The most pathetic position is those who think themselves wise but are really fools believing the would be despots mantra.

    • BlackRockLifer

I agree, we should all have access to a single shot musket.

      • Old Guy with mustache

We should have the same access the military has to prevent tyranny is the point if you’re too obtuse to understand the thoughts here.

        • NUCLEAR WEAPONS ARE MY GOD GIVEN RIGHT!!!!

          • Old Guy with mustache

Yeah let’s be stupid, they’re not nuke their own country, they’ll just round up the dissidents and execute them like all communist/fascist/dictators do.

          • oh no, you can’t have it that way- your already hiding behind an avatar- where is the line drawn? Should I be allowed a SAM? How about hellfires mounted on my Ford Focus? Don’t just dump a bunch of out of context quotes, stand up behind your own opinion.

          • That would clear the geezers out of the fast lane in no time! Oh yeah!!

          • Really, Jane Fonda? You think my right to arm myself is stupid?

        • How does this work in a capitalist society. Do the well heeled of Spaulding Lake arm their homes with tanks while the section 8 guy walks around with a saturday night special? Or do we have what amounts to an EBT card for weaponry? And who would fund such a program, the tyrannical government for which it is meant to defend against? And since we all essentially become military, can we finally get universal health care like the VA? I’ve got a feeling there’s going to be a glut of emergency room visits while we stand around looking for the black helicopters.

          • Old Guy with mustache

The problem is the evil person(s) not the tool. I sure your enlightened minds think we can ban guns, then of course knives, then bats, bottles, cars, chains, sticks, rocks, then we start cutting off fist. The problem is an immoral society wishing others would behave by God honoring moral values is a foolish mindset. No higher authority is allowed to be taught in today’s society, except the state. The state however is only as moral as the person who holds the office, and subject to a small groups morals and ambitions. Our founders obviously more wise than those we have today placed many of these safe guards. The final safeguard was defining by the Bill of rights stating that natural law superseding federal law. You see
the founders having fought off tyranny understood the need of man to have the tools to defend as it says in oath every public servant takes to defend from enemies of the Republic whether foreign or DOMESTIC. Republic is not the government, it is the people. The quotes are apropos but because your short sighted and simplistic thinking, giving up others inalienable rights to fix a problem you don’t even understand is easy. Since you’re obviously not a student of history, here is another quote for you to chew on.

“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” ~Benjamin Franklin

*We are all responsible for our own safety and that of our community. If you are too afraid to defend your life and those of your family and community from evil, then you need to come to grips with that. Quit trying to project your infantial need for a protector on those who can take care of themselves. Hey, how about another quote.*

“If you love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”

            Samuel Adams

          • Stop with the quotes already. All I’m wondering is who gets to have the toys? This shit costs money, have you seen our military budget recently?
With all due respect, you are delusional and I hope you seek help.

        • No, you don’t and you shouldn’t. Even Antonin fucking Scalia says so. DC v. Heller

      • Old Guy with mustache

The colonialist had cannon, powder and ball, that’s what the Red Coats were coming to Lexington and Concord for, not muskets. http://militaryhistory.about.com/od/americanrevolution/p/lexconcord.htm

  • I would normally object to the picking of such low-hanging fruit, but holy shit, this woman is a gift from the comedy gods.
