  • I’M NOT IN LOVE WITH THE $1000.00 FEE BEING LEVIED PER TRUCK APPLICATION. SOUNDS LIKE MORE CITY HALL SHINAGANS TO SQUEEZE MONEY OUT SOME GUYS WHO ARE TRYING TO TURN A DOLLAR. WHY $1000.00? IS CITY HALL TRYING TO CUT DOWN ON THE NUMBER OF FOOD TRUCKS? BAD BOY BYRON! SIT!

  • Mostly a positive outcome but I can’t believe the small mindedness of some on the Commom Council. It explains why Buffalo is still the small minded city it is and always will be. Limiting the number of trucks per block is stupid, as the one truck owner stated: the Council doesn’t limit the number of restaurants per block. And many of the truck owners are hiring, let’s reward them for that and do all we can to increase their business. Manu truck owners end up opening restaurants too, at least they do in other cities. I live in San Francisco now, where we have plenty of food trucks in the downtown area; there is and always has been traffic and Buffalo, you do not know what congestion is! But the local government doesn’t try to limit the trucks because they are a burgioning business and people who work downtown are clamoring for them.
